Job summary

Job description

The Program Support Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Assistive Technology New Hampshire (ATinNH) program within the Institute on Disability. This role helps ensure the smooth delivery of services that increase access to assistive technology across New Hampshire, including equipment loans, trainings, demonstrations, and outreach initiatives.ATinNH works to connect individuals with disabilities, families, educators, and professionals to assistive technology that supports independence, learning, and community participation. The Program Support Assistant plays a key role in supporting these efforts through coordination, communication, and program operations.Duties/ResponsibilitiesProgram & Administrative Support – 60%Provide day-to-day administrative support for ATinNH programs and activitiesMaintain program records, databases, and tracking systems (e.g., equipment loans, participant data)Assist with scheduling meetings, trainings, and eventsPrepare materials, reports, and correspondenceSupport coordination of assistive technology lending library, including inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and documentationAssist with equipment demonstrations, reuse programs, and device preparationHelp ensure accurate data collection for program evaluation and reportingSupport coordination of assistive technology MakerAbility Hub, including maker coordination and communication, inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and documentationCustomer Service & Communication – 15%Serve as a point of contact for program participants, partners, and stakeholdersRespond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional mannerProvide general information about assistive technology services and resourcesEvent & Training Coordination – 15%Assist in planning and executing trainings, workshops, and outreach eventsCoordinate logistics such as registration, materials, and technology setupSupport virtual and in-person eventsOutreach & Collaboration – 10%Support outreach efforts to community partners, service providers, and organizationsAssist with maintaining resource lists and distributing program informationContribute to promoting inclusive access to assistive technology across the stateRequirementsMinimum Acceptable Education & Experience:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in human services, education, public health, or related fieldStrong organizational and administrative skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google WorkspaceAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and equityAttention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptability in a dynamic, service-oriented environmentCultural competence and ability to work with diverse populationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in inclusive settingsFamiliarity with assistive technology or disability servicesExperience with data entry, database management, or program coordinationEvent planning or customer service experienceApplicant Instructions:Applicants should be prepared to upload the following documents when applying online within the My Experience: Resume/CV section of the application: (Maximum of 5 Documents)Resume/CVApplications that are missing any of the required items may not move forward for consideration.
