This full-time role plans, coordinates, implements, and supports assistive technology solutions to improve access to curriculum and school community engagement.

The coordinator will manage AT devices, provide training, monitor licenses and budgets, and oversee the district iPad fleet.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and licensure as applicable (Massachusetts DESE or Health/OT as appropriate).
  • Experience implementing assistive technology in educational settings and ability to support students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide assistive technology solutions for students and staff.
  • Evaluate and recommend AT devices and software to improve access to curriculum.
  • Manage adaptive hardware, software, and equipment for students with disabilities.
  • Provide training for students, staff, and families on AT tools.
  • Support and troubleshoot AT devices and applications.
  • Monitor AT software licenses, pricing, and budget projections.
  • Oversee district iPad fleet management including app purchasing and lifecycle.
