Foundation for Blind Children is seeking a full-time Assistive Technology Instructor for the Central Campus in Phoenix. You will support adults entering the job market by teaching AT skills and coordinating technology recommendations.

The role sits on our Adult Comprehensive Services team with a strong emphasis on evaluation and progress reporting. Required qualifications include an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or ability to obtain it, a related Bachelor's degree or AT certifications, and at

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain
• Bachelor's degree or certificates in AT as required
• Minimum one year of teaching Assistive Technology to blind/vision-impaired individuals
• Experience installing/configuring Assistive Technology products for vision impairment

Responsibilities

• Teach assistive technology skills to adults entering the job market
• Participate in meetings regarding student progress
• Develop and maintain competencies for assistive technology rehabilitation
• Coordinate and facilitate technology recommendations for students
• Submit thorough and timely evaluation and progress reports
• Perform other duties as needed
