Job summary

Life Time is seeking a PT-Stretch Specialist to support members with branded Assisted Stretch and Recovery sessions, aiming to enhance how they feel and move. You will build educational, relationship-based experiences that reflect Life Time’s brand and standards.

Responsibilities include developing safe client programs, guiding sessions with PNF techniques, and promoting stretch services while maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified personal Trainer credential required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Knowledge of assisted stretching and recovery techniques is required.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• At least 1 year of personal training experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field preferred.
• Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Leads clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax.
• Leads recovery sessions using assisted stretching, hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training associated with the role.
• Conducts stretch and recovery demos including pre-participation screening.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promotes and sells stretch session programs and other personal training services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Keeps certifications and knowledge up to date to advance through levels.
• Delivers superior customer service to ensure members feel competent and connected.
• Documents all aspects of client programming.
