Job summary

Life Time is seeking an energetic PT-Stretch Specialist to support members with branded Assisted Stretch and Recovery sessions, helping them feel and move better. You will build personalized clients’ programs, lead stretch and recovery sessions, and promote related services while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes safety, education, and ongoing training. Applicants should have a PTA/Trainer credential, CPR/AED, and experience in stretching or related recovery techniques

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Personal Trainer credential.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred: 1 year of personal training experience; Bachelor's in Kinesiology or related field; AIS/FST or similar certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Leads clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax stretching.
• Leads recovery sessions with assisted stretching, Hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
• Completes all required training related to the role and stays current on certifications.
• Performs pre-participation screenings and goal setting to tailor stretching programs.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation for members.
• Promotes and sells stretch session programs and other personal training services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Documents all aspects of client programming and progress.
