Job summary

Touchmark on South Hill in Spokane, WA is seeking a PRN Nurse in Health Services to support weekends and PTO coverage in our Assisted Living neighborhood.

As a PRN Nurse you will provide hands-on nursing care, mentor Med Techs, collaborate with the nursing team to develop resident care plans, and communicate with families to share health updates and ensure dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a WA RN or LPN license.
• Experience in geriatric patient care preferred.
• PRN/weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care for Assisted Living residents.
• Mentor and coach Med Tech staff in daily care tasks.

We are currently seeking the right individual to join our team as a PRN Nurse in Health Services. This is a PRN/Casual position to assist with coverage for weekends and team member PTO.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Have a genuine interest in caring for aging residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Possess a current RN or LPN license in the state of Washington
• Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident

Responsibilities:

• Help oversee, mentor and coach the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions
• Provide hands-on nursing care for residents residing in Assisted Living
• Assess the health status of residents, as needed, and work with the nursing team and health services team to develop and review individualized service plans
• Develop trust and strong communication with family members to be able to provide information and insight related to the resident's health and well-being
