Job summary

Touchmark, LLC is seeking a Med Tech for the Fairway Village community in Southwest Washington. This full-time and part-time role supports residents with daily living activities and medication assistance in a geriatric setting.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, with a high school diploma and WA state CNA/NAC certification. Nurse Delegation and CPR/First Aid are preferred, with opportunities for education assistance and benefits.

Qualifications

• CNA or NAC certification completed in WA state.
• Home Care Aide certificate acceptable if enrolled in CNA program.
• Nurse Delegation completed; caregiver/Med Tech experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification encouraged if not on file.

Responsibilities

• Review each resident's service plan each shift.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and other daily living activities.
• Respond to call lights promptly to ensure resident safety.
• Escort residents to apartments, activities, and dining areas.
• In memory care, CNAs may prep dining room, take orders, serve meals.
• Take and document vital statistics; assist with medication as directed.

Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities for NOC Shift!

Your responsibilities as a Med Tech may include daily duties such as:

• Reviewing and understanding the unique service plan for every assigned resident each shift
• Assisting with bathing, dressing/undressing, and other activities of daily living
• Answering call lights as soon as possible to ensure safety of residents
• Escorting residents to and from apartments, activities, and dining rooms
• In our memory care setting, CNA’s may prepare the dining room, take orders, and serve meals
• Taking and documenting vital statistics
• Performing medication assistance as directed by a licensed staff
  

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have completed a state certified CNA or NAC course, with current certification in the state of Washington. Home Care Aide certificate is also acceptable, as it is current enrollment in a CNA training school
• Med Techs must have Nurse Delegation completed and experience as a caregiver and/or Med Tech
• Be willing to obtain a CPR/AED/First Aid Certification if you don’t already have one
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
