Job summary

Osage Nation is seeking an Assisted Living Nurse Manager in Oklahoma to lead nursing services in our senior living community. You will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate care, ensuring compliance with state regulations and our policies while promoting resident dignity and quality of life.

Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and RN licensure are essential. Experience in LTC/assisted living leadership and proficiency with EHRs are highly valued, with ACLS/PALS and NIHSS certifications

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with active Oklahoma license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 5+ years nursing management experience.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required or obtained within 90 days.
• NIHSS certification within 90 days.
• Pass background and drug tests; valid driver’s license.

Job description

The Assisted Living Nurse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all nursing services within the assisted living community. The Nurse Manager ensures residents receive quality care that complies with state regulations, company policies, and professional nursing standards while promoting resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active unrestricted RN license in the state of Oklahoma
• 3 or more years of nursing management experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of state survey processes and regulatory compliance.
• BLS certification
• Willing and able to be deal with Exposure to infectious diseases and other healthcare-related hazards.
• Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Willing and able to work occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 5 years of experience in LTC/Assisted Living leadership preferred.
• Assisted living, long-term care, or senior living experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of assisted living regulations and standards of care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to respond quickly during emergencies.
• Visual and auditory ability to assess residents and work environment effectively.
• Must be certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and maintained throughout employment. If not certified, ACLS certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire.
• Must be certified in Pediatric Life Support (PALS) and maintained throughout employment. If not certified, PALS certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles
