Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking a Cook for an assisted living setting in Wisconsin. The role focuses on preparation, cooking, and serving nutritious meals that meet dietary needs while ensuring a warm, resident-centered dining experience.

Responsibilities include following posted menus, handling portions, maintaining food safety, and assisting with menu planning and teamwork with dietary aides. Requires HS diploma and 1 year of cooking experience; SERV Safe preferred.

Qualifications

• Prepare and cook meals according to posted menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals are served on time and in proper portions.
• Follow dietary guidelines and resident preferences.

Responsibilities

• Label and date food items and leftovers per safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Follow all emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Attend to menu planning and resident feedback.
