Job summary

The Overlook Monroe is seeking a Cook to join our busy Senior Living Community in Monroe, Georgia. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring an excellent culinary experience for our residents.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a similar role, a ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification, and the ability to manage time effectively under pressure. Join us in creating meals that ‘wow’ for our community!

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment.
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary.
• Follow all food safety regulations.
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
