Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Assisted Living Supervisor to lead care teams in our Kansas operation. The role involves hands-on supervision, direct resident care, and coordination with support services to ensure residents receive compassionate, consistent care.

The position requires 1+ year in assisted living or related healthcare, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in assisted living, long‑term care, or healthcare.
• Supervisory or shift leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Sound judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and care systems).
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support assisted living team members.
• Provide direct resident care and champion the Resident-Centered Care model.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily task assignments.
• Review timekeeping and support payroll accuracy.
• Monitor resident changes in condition and communicate with families.
• Support development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
• Partner with Activities and Dining to enhance resident engagement.
• Participate in Crossover meetings to ensure smooth communication.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and Sunrise standards.
• Promote safety, infection control, and risk management practices.
