Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking caring caregivers for our Rolling Hills Estates community. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities, providing compassionate support, and ensuring accurate medication management and daily progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
