Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to support residents at Truewood by Merrill, Glen Riddle. Shifts available from 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm.

You will assist with daily living activities, medication management, and care progress reporting within a community focused on dignity and individualism. Ideal candidates are CNA-certified or have two years of caregiver experience, with the ability to obtain first aid/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years of previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed (Chart by exception).

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
