Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park is hiring a Senior Living Caregiver for the NOC shift on a full-time basis to support residents with daily living activities. You will assist with dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and other personal care while promoting dignity and independence.

The role includes medication management as permitted by state regulations, daily progress notes, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years' experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Our Caregivers:

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
