Job summary

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Assisting Living Building Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our assisted living facility in Royal Oak, MI. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate maintenance, and support residents and families to maintain high standards of care and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living or healthcare/facility management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for assisted living facilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond to emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the assisted living building, including scheduling and supervising staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding assisted living facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and concerns, facilitating communication between residents, families, and care providers.
• Maintain accurate records related to resident care, building operations, and incident reports.
• Assist with budgeting and inventory management for the facility.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement improvements as necessary.
