Job summary

Plainwell Community Schools is seeking a head coach to lead our high school athletics program. You will teach fundamentals, strategy, and physical training while promoting sportsmanship, self-discipline, and pride in achievement.

You will supervise coaches, coordinate practices and events, apply district policies, and provide guidance to staff and student athletes. Strong knowledge of the sport and the ability to model exemplary behavior are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing and supervising a school sports program.
• Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Substantial knowledge of the sport's technical aspects.
• Ability to serve as a positive role model for student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Implement athletic policies approved by the Board of Education.
• Interpret and apply state and league regulations for staff.
• Follow proper command structure and communicate through channels.
