Job summary

Wittenberg University is seeking applications for an Assistant Coach for the Women's Basketball program. The role supports the head coach in all aspects of a NCAA Division III program.

This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt-level position reporting to the Head Women's Basketball Coach. Essential duties include aiding in practice and game-day prep, recruiting and graduating student-athletes, and ensuring academic integrity while engaging with students, parents, alumni, and staff.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of collegiate coaching or playing experience (post position).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with students, staff, and community.
• Knowledge of Hudl, Synergy, Frontrush or similar recruiting software and social media platforms.
• Travel, some evenings, nights and weekends required. Driver's license and Ohio license within 30 days if out of state.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with practice and game-day prep and execution.
• Evaluate, recruit, and graduate student-athletes.
• Provide service to the Institution as assigned by Directors of Athletics & Recreation, reporting to Assistant AD for Facilities & Events.
