National DCP, LLC in Lockport, Illinois is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to lead outbound loading, inbound receiving, and daily warehouse operations. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and team supervision, with a schedule Sunday through Thursday and potential extended hours to meet business needs.

The position requires 5+ years of supervisory warehouse experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

5+ years of warehouse operations experience with progressive supervisory/management responsibilities.
Experience in a Food Distribution environment preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
SAP experience preferred; WMS experience required (Manhattan desirable).
Experience with voice-directed tech (Vocollect desirable).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willing to work varying schedules to support Warehouse Operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor performance and ensure daily plan is achievable for all warehouse departments.
Execute operations based on daily volume and ensure on-time dispatch of routes.
Train and discipline staff; promote safe operation of material handling equipment.
Communicate with Warehouse teams to maintain safety and cleanliness.
Present production and service metrics to management as needed.
Manage maintenance of the facility and supervise warehouse staff.
Build strong cross-department relationships to support operations.
