Employment Application for Assistant Warehouse Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled manager to take over Warehouse Management for our corporate warehouse!
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring safety, cleanliness, organization, and secure operation of the warehouse;
- Data analysis;
- Meeting productivity targets and ensuring resources are available to meet demands;
- Continuously improve efficiency, productivity, accuracy and output;
- Take the initiative to do what needs to be done without being told. Get results without being micromanaged;
- Scheduling employees;
- Training and building your team;
- Management of all aspects of a shipping and receiving warehouse;
- Value and insist on punctuality and good attendance;
- Serve as a role model for your colleagues;
- Contribute to the success of the company by adapting to changes, continually striving for personal growth, maintaining an environment of professionalism and teamwork, and doing whatever is asked of you with a positive attitude;
- Learn how our company works and suggest ways to improve it;
- Recruiting, disciplining and training staff;
- Cost management, forecasting, and budgeting;
- Choosing and implementing technology, hardware, software, and systems;
- Negotiating with shipping carriers for better rates and service.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of team management, warehouse experience a plus;
- Minimum 2+ years inventory management;
- Proven background of providing great customer service;
- Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems;
- Works effectively both as a team member and independently.
