The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for assisting the warehouse manager in all daily functions to ensure the timely and accurate loading of delivery trucks while maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead and motivate all warehouse personnel through daily development and coaching.
2. Ensure every Delivery Driver is checked-in immediately upon his return to the warehouse; this includes the counting of all returned product, empties, pallets, and carts.
3. Ensure all warehouse employees abide by company policies and procedures.
4. Ability to lead forklift and pallet jack certification classes.
5. Rotate product within the warehouse to make sure the oldest product is loaded for delivery first.
6. Supervise all functions of “Location Based Inventory” and “Voice Picking” programs.
7. Ensure warehouse, grounds and keg/pallet yards are kept clean.
8. Work flexible shifts to accommodate peak times and seasonal selling periods.
9. Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work cohesively across multiple departments.
• 1-2 years of management experience.
