Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, preferably in Social or Behavioral Science or a related field.
• Six (6) years of correctional work experience, including two (2) years at the Chief of Security or Chief of Unit Management level or five (5) years as a CoreCivic department head or equivalent.
• Additional qualifying full-time correctional supervisory experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of correctional facility management, laws, rules, and supervision/training principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Directs, administers and coordinates the management of the facility in operations and/or programs personally or through subordinate managerial staff, with oversight and direction of the Warden.
• Acts with full authority in the absence of the Warden.
