Job summary

CoreCivic in Mason, TN is seeking an Assistant Warden to direct and coordinate facility operations and programs, under the Warden's oversight. The role requires strong leadership and a track record in management within correctional settings.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, have at least six years of correctional experience with supervisory responsibilities, be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess a valid driver's license, and meet the minimum age of 21.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, preferably in Social or Behavioral Science or a related field.
• Six (6) years of correctional work experience, including two (2) years at the Chief of Security or Chief of Unit Management level or five (5) years as a CoreCivic department head or equivalent.
• Additional qualifying full-time correctional supervisory experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of correctional facility management, laws, rules, and supervision/training principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
