Job summary

Landing Point is seeking an Assistant Vice President for IT & AI Governance to lead the enterprise governance function within a prominent investment management firm. The role collaborates with Model Risk Management and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with SR 11-7, OCC/Fed guidance, and ITIL/NIST standards.

You will develop policies, define KPIs/KRIs, and mentor the IT Governance team while aligning governance with the firm’s digital transformation strategy and responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, required or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred for advanced oversight

An investment management firm with approximately $17 billion in assets under management, specializing in mortgage and consumer credit investments, is seeking an Assistant Vice President for IT & AI Governance to lead their enterprise technology governance function.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise IT and AI governance frameworks aligned with NIST, SCF, NYDFS, and regulatory best practices
• Partner with Model Risk Management to align with SR 11-7 and OCC/Fed guidance
• Identify, assess, and monitor IT and AI risks
• Ensure compliance with IT and AI regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain IT and AI policies, standards, and procedures
• Align governance with IT and digital transformation strategy
• Define AI governance standards for vendors
• Define KPIs and KRIs for IT and AI governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards (COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Proficiency with IT governance, risk, and compliance tools
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity principles

Compensation

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000, Plus Bonus
