Reineke Ford Lincoln of Lima is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Used Vehicle Manager to support our growing pre-owned operation. This is a key leadership role focused on managing reconditioning, driving merchandising and pricing strategy, and leading our used vehicle sales team to success.

What You’ll Do:

Reconditioning Management:

1. Oversee vehicle flow from trade-in or auction to front-line ready
2. Coordinate with service, detail, and vendors to meet time-to-market goals
3. Maintain high standards for vehicle quality and presentation

Merchandising & Pricing:

1. Assist in pricing vehicles based on market trends using vAuto and internal metrics
2. Ensure online listings are updated with accurate photos and descriptions
3. Monitor days-to-turn and adjust merchandising strategy accordingly

Team Leadership:

1. Manage and motivate the used vehicle sales team
2. Support the desk with deal structuring, customer interactions, and closing support
3. Train salespeople on inventory knowledge and used car selling techniques

Performance & Operations:

1. Track key metrics like aged inventory, gross per unit, and recon time
2. Work closely with the Used Car Manager and General Sales Manager to hit goals
3. Identify opportunities to grow volume and improve profitability

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table:

1. 2+ years in a dealership environment (sales, inventory, or management)
2. Strong working knowledge of reconditioning and vehicle merchandising
3. Experience with tools like vAuto, CDK, Eleads, and online marketing platforms
4. Ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable
5. Organized, proactive, and focused on results
