Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year of coaching experience at high school, club, or college.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction, practice planning, and advisement of the men’s and women’s track & field throws programs.
• Assist head coaches with training programs and practice plans.
• Provide coaching during pre-season, in-season practices, and competitions for throws athletes.
• Mentor student-athletes to promote athletic, emotional, and social growth.
• Attend competitions and assist with meet strategies and day-of needs.
• Actively recruit qualified student-athletes and participate in campus visits with prospective student-athletes.
• Support diversity and inclusive community; comply with NCAA Division III, MIAC, and St. Olaf bylaws.
• Perform other duties as assigned by head coach or athletic department.
