Job summary

Wheaton College, an NCAA Division III institution located in Norton, Massachusetts, is seeking an Assistant Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Coach to support in-season practices and meet preparation. You will actively identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student‑athletes while upholding NCAA and Wheaton rules.

The role requires teaching and developing student‑athletes and performing administrative duties as directed by Athletic Administration.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching sprinting, jumping and hurdling.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor's degree required; teaching ability and driver’s license beneficial.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach, develop, and evaluate student-athletes' skills, conditioning and sport knowledge.
• Assist head coach to develop and execute a recruiting plan for prospective student-athletes.
• Assist head coach to organize practices and intercollegiate varsity competitions.
• Serve in an administrative capacity as needed, including game management.
