Job summary

Wheaton College in Norton, MA is seeking an Assistant Men's and Women's Track and Field Coach to support our varsity programs. The role focuses on coaching sprinting, jumps, and hurdles, aiding recruitment, and assisting with practice and meet planning.

The successful candidate will work evenings and weekends and uphold NCAA Division III and Wheaton policies, contributing to the holistic development of student-athletes and coordinating with the Athletic Administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 1-3 years of collegiate playing and/or coaching experience.
• Experience coaching sprinting, jumping and hurdling at the collegiate level.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends and travel with the team.

Responsibilities

• Teach, develop, and evaluate student-athletes' skills, conditioning and sport knowledge.
• Assist the head coach to develop and execute a recruiting plan for prospective student-athletes.
• Assist the head coach to organize practices and intercollegiate competitions.
• Serve in an administrative capacity as needed, including game management.
