Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree with a transportation focus, 8+ years in traffic engineering, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with focus on Transportation Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in traffic engineering, operations and planning, traffic related studies, signing and striping plans, traffic signal design and traffic control.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate professional and technical staff.
• Coordinate and oversee traffic engineering work activities, assign projects, monitor progress, and review completed work for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Development Services to evaluate traffic impacts of plats and development plans.
