Job summary

Discovery Kidzone in Clancy, MT is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher who will support a Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging classroom for toddlers. You’ll help with daily care, learning through play, and development across social, cognitive, language, and physical areas.

No prior childcare experience is required. Paid training, ongoing support, and opportunities to grow in early childhood education are provided, with benefits and a clear path toward CDA or Montessori

Qualifications

• Passion for working with toddlers.

• Strong communication skills.
• Willing to learn Montana licensing training and CPR within 30 days.

Discovery Kidzone is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team in Clancy. You'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where toddlers can learn, explore, build confidence, and develop important skills.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you'll help create a classroom where toddlers feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

You'll:

• Assist with the daily care and supervision of toddlers
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children
• Encourage learning through play, music, storytelling, art, movement, and hands-on activities
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
• Help children build confidence, independence, and positive relationships with peers
• Assist with meals, naps, toileting, transitions, and other daily routines
• Observe children's development and share important updates with families
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and classroom team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment
• Follow all health, safety, and Montana licensing requirements

You don't need previous childcare experience. We're looking for someone who is:

• Able to guide children with kindness and consistency
• Interested in early childhood development
• Willing to learn and complete all required Montana licensing training
• CPR Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Previous childcare experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided!
