Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the theatre operations on site. You will be cross-trained across all departments and mentor team members while supporting the General Manager. Opportunity to progress to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program.

The role requires flexible availability, strong guest service, and a focus on safety, training, and efficient operations within a fast-paced cinema environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state certifications, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for staff working with alcohol is required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance expected.
• Fluent English communication (verbal and written).
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communications.
• Work across all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their tasks.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspect theatre building, parking lot, and equipment condition.
• Report repairs to GM and ensure safety compliance.
• Enforce dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Cinemark policies and reporting protocols.
• Maintain high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identify and address high-contact risk areas.
• Use PPE appropriately and follow task-specific safety requirements.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
