Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Assistant Tennis Coach.

POSITIONOBJECTIVES:

This position reports to the Head Women’s Tennis Coach and carries responsibility for all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s tennis program. In this role, supporting andassistingthe tennis team in all areas are key to developing a competitive and successful program in support of the College’s scholar-athlete approach to collegiate athletics. Support the Head Coach in a range of duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assistwith all aspects of training, hitting sessions, goal setting, recruiting, and other individual player development needs.
• Collaborate withstrength and conditioning and athletic trainingto prepare scholar-athlete for peak performance.
• Support scholar-athletes in their pursuit of balancing their academic and athletic priorities.

In-season: Continue toassistin all aspects of program development (recruiting, training, player development, providing socio-emotional support, etc.). 20-25 hours/week during September, October, February,Marchand April.Additionalhours in the offseason (3-10 hours per week, depending).

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Collegiate playingexperienceand/or coaching experience on high school or college level.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Dependable transportation to and from work.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
