Job Summary:

To work under the direction of a certificated staff member to support and assist in providing instructional programs and services to students with disabilities to help them benefit from their Individualized Education Program (IEP). Services may be provided in a special education class, regular education class, or other instructional setting.

Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be Highly Qualified as defined by federal standards, which requires either two completed years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate’s (or higher) degree, or PDE Highly Qualified certification (Paraeducator Credential of Competency).
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required; training can be provided if needed.
