Notre Dame de Namur University seeks a committed Student Assistant-Financial Lit Coach for the STARS project. This remote-friendly role involves empowering undergraduate students by advocating for financial literacy, conducting workshops, and providing outreach support. Ideal candidates are self-motivated graduate-level students with leadership experience and the ability to engage effectively with diverse student populations.
Position: Student Assistant-Financial Lit Coach
Status:Part-time/ 5-10 hours per week (Temporary/seasonal (Spring Term 2 to Fall Term 1)
Reports to: Erica Dominguez
General Description: The STARS (Success in Transfer & Retention for Students) Project's mission is to provide wrap around support to undergraduate students in their pursuit of a bachelor's degree at NDNU. Financial Lit Coaches are tasked with the opportunity to train and advocate for financial literacy initiatives, and provide outreach support to undergraduate students. The STARS Financial Lit Coaches empower students to identify personal finance goals, and provide technical support to campus resources and financial literacy tools. This is a remote-friendly position.
