Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Electrical Designer to assist in various phases of project planning and site evaluations. In this role, you will design, model, and prepare engineering drawings for a diverse portfolio of telecommunication projects.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in drafting technology or a related field, ideally with 2 years of related experience, and a strong command of design software including AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in drafting technology or related field, and 2 years of related experience required.
• Strong understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel to develop the design deliverables.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others in a multi-disciplinary project team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various phases of planning, site evaluations, and construction documentation.
• Design and model various telecommunication project types.
• Prepare engineering drawings from rough sketches using Revit and other CAD software.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in drafting technology or related field
