Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York City is seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to join our team. This role will support the development and maintenance of tech packs, specifications, and measurements while collaborating with Design, Product Development, and overseas vendors.

Responsibilities include supporting fit sessions, reviewing samples for construction and fit, tracking submissions, revisions and approvals, and ensuring accurate technical information throughout development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical design, product development, or related apparel experience.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and measurements.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Fashion/apparel degree or equivalent experience preferred.
