Job summary

Loop Neighborhood Market in Union City, CA, is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support store operations and lead diverse teams. You’ll train staff, help manage schedules, stock merchandise, forecast needs, and ensure smooth daily operations with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six to nine months’ experience as an assistant manager or equivalent.
• Strong mathematics ability.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from workplace.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach new store staff.
• Assist in creating schedules in a time keeping system.
• Stock shelves and ensure a clean, professional store appearance.
• Forecast, order, stock, and merchandise products.
• Reconcile store paperwork promptly.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly store environment.
• Assist with management of store staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash issues.
• Fix gas pump issues and drive-offs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
