Job summary

Loop Neighborhood Market is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Leader in daily store operations and to lead the team during shifts. This hands-on role emphasizes coaching, problem-solving, and ensuring execution meets standards.

You will actively work with the team, drive performance, manage scheduling and cash handling, and help maintain a safe, customer-focused store environment. Growth into a Team Leader role is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–9 months of assistant manager or related experience.
• Strong math, English communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Retail, convenience, food service, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Team Leader role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage.
• Handle cash, reports, and store paperwork accurately.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every shift.
