Job summary

Loop Neighborhood Market is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support daily store operations, coach team members, and step in for the Team Leader when needed. The role combines hands-on leadership with oversight of scheduling, cash handling, and daily paperwork.

Ideal candidates will have 6–9 months of supervisory or assistant manager experience, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong math, English communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Retail, convenience, food service, or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Team Leader role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members; support the Team Leader in daily operations.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage to ensure smooth staffing.
• Handle cash, reports, and store paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support inventory management and merchandising to reduce shrink and maintain presentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve concerns promptly.
