Amentum is seeking an Assistant Team Lead Research Analyst to support the FBI Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC) in Winchester, VA. Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret US Government Clearance required.
• 1+ year experience supporting FBI EVC or related vetting processes.
• Experience reviewing junior analysts' work for accuracy and quality.
• Experience with derogatory information assessments and background checks.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to escalate issues when needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to guide junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Lead with day-to-day leadership and coordination of Research Analysts supporting FBI EVC operations.
• Review and validate the work of junior analysts to ensure accuracy and quality of reports and research findings.
• Conduct quality reviews with emphasis on non-reportable information requests.
• Identify discrepancies or errors that require escalation or further research by the Team Lead.
• Coach and mentor analysts on research activities, analytic practices, and quality expectations.
• Support onboarding, training, and development activities for analysts.
