Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Junior Intelligence Research Analyst to support FinCEN’s Global Investigations Division in combatting financial crimes. You will research complex all-source information to identify illicit actors, their networks, and funding sources.

You will produce intelligence products and briefings for senior audiences, uncover hidden relationships, and contribute to AML methodology discussions. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of investigative support experience.
• Proficient in MS Access, Excel, and Word.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources.
• Experience with open-source research and analysis.
• Ability to write intelligence products and briefings for senior-level audiences.
• Experience identifying financial crimes such as terrorism, money laundering, fraud.

Responsibilities

• Uncover and document hidden relationships between target individuals and entities.
• Create reports synthesizing all-source intelligence on suspected illicit finance actors.
• Research evolving illicit finance methodologies and AML regimes in targeted jurisdictions.
• Produce authoritative reports providing new insights for financial actions against high-priority targets.
• Apply process improvement and reengineering to modernization projects.
• Demonstrate expertise in applying reengineering methodologies to operational policies and strategies.
