Job summary

Learning Care Group in Armonk, NY is seeking Assistant Teachers to provide nurturing care for children and support families. You will follow licensing guidelines, maintain a clean, engaging classroom, and help plan activities that promote learning.

You will participate in ongoing training, observe and assess child development, and communicate with families to support each child's growth. The role offers a supportive team and opportunities for advancement within a leading child care organization.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Assistant Teachers:

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.


• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers

• All employees in New York are eligible for paid sick leave, as required by the Healthy Families Work Act. Full-time employees are provided with 48 hours upon hire and annually each fiscal year thereafter. Part-time and temporary employees earn paid sick leave based upon hours worked.
