Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an assistant teacher to support inclusive classrooms serving K-12 students with additional needs. You will work closely with teachers to deliver small-group instruction, monitor progress, and reinforce learning using SESI’s instructional model.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction and support teacher in delivering SESI’s instructional model.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide customized behavior and academic support.
• Monitor student progress, document growth, and communicate with families as needed.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and independent study tasks.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and safety procedures as required.
