Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an assistant teacher to support small groups and assist the lead teacher in delivering individualized services. You will monitor student progress, reinforce learning, and help implement SESI's CASE PBIS framework.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and experience with special needs students. This role requires a valid driver’s license for student transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license to perform student transportation using school van.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with small group instruction and activities.
• Support the creation and implementation of individualized plans and progress tracking.
• Monitor student behavior and safety, and reinforce learning and skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers, assistants, and related service providers.
