The Learning Experience is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our early childhood education initiatives in a caring, energetic environment. You will assist with classroom activities, help implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and maintain a safe, engaging space for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers.

Ideal candidates bring a High School Diploma or GED, and are excited to work with children, families, and a collaborative center team in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ECE coursework preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Experience in childcare preferred.
• Must meet state guidelines and health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Leadership: collaborate with teachers to create a welcoming, engaging space for children to learn and play.
• Curriculum Implementation: assist teachers with implementing the LEAP Curriculum and adapting activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Safety First: maintain a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive.
• Family Communication: help update parents on progress and milestones via apps and in-person discussions.
• Center Collaboration: work with staff and leadership to support retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Relationship Builder: foster warm relationships with families and colleagues to support a positive learning atmosphere.
