Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher in the Princeton, IN area to work in early education settings with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

The role requires background checks and the ability to follow Bright Horizons policies. You will support classroom activities, communicate with families, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the learning environment.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of childcare/early education experience preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the director.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.
