Job summary

Bright Horizons Children's Centers is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support early childhood education in Indianapolis. This role offers full-time and part-time positions across infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.

You will assist with hands-on activities, communicate with parents, and help maintain a safe, clean learning environment. A state/background check is required, with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare or preschool preferred
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor's in early education preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines
• Provide support across classrooms or age groups as coverage is needed
