As an Assistant Teacher, you will support the Lead Teacher, implement activities, assist with meals and routines, and communicate with families via our Classroom Management system to maintain a high-quality educational environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED & CDA is preferred.
• 1 year experience in childcare or licensing knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with age-appropriate activities.
• Support meals, hygiene routines and rest periods.
• Maintain classroom communication with families via the Classroom Management system.
• Provide instructional support as directed by the Lead Teacher or school leadership.

What you bring as a Team Member:

As an Assistant Teacher, you will support the classroom by collaborating with the Lead Teacher to implement age-appropriate activities that foster the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of every child. Utilizing the established curriculum, you will help guide students through the transition from infancy to school age, ensuring they meet the necessary milestones for kindergarten readiness. Your role is essential to daily operations, including providing attentive care during meals, hygiene routines, and rest periods, while maintaining professional and transparent communication with families and staff via the Classroom Management system. Furthermore, you will provide administrative and instructional support as directed by the Lead Teacher or school leadership to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational environment.

Pay: $13.00-$16.00 Hour based on Region, education and experience
