Position Summary

Kiddie Academy of Clermont is seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher for our three-year-old classroom. We are a leader in early childhood education, and the assistant teacher plays a vital role in supporting children's daily activities, education, and care.

Responsibilities

1. Support the lead teacher in preparing the classroom environment for daily activities.
2. Assist in setting up educational materials and resources.
3. Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized classroom environment.
4. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and encouraging positive social interactions.
5. Provide guidance during playtime, meal times, and other activities.
6. Foster a nurturing environment that makes children feel secure and valued.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in early childhood education and preschool settings.
• Willingness to attain certifications for professional growth.
• Passion for educating youth.
• Full-time availability Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of 45 hours of DCF training.
• Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Certification.
