Job summary

Growing Room Auburn is looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans while ensuring the safety and well-being of children. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, patience, and a love for working with young children.

This role allows for Monday to Friday daytime hours with no weekends, and offers benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education is a plus.
• Ability to handle classroom situations calmly and effectively.
• Willingness to assist with meals and hygiene needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.

• Assist with meals, snacks, and toileting as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood coursework a plus!)
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for children
• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
