The Learning Experience - Franklin, MA is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms. Full-time, Monday–Friday, with pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC minimum hiring requirements must be met.
• Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred.
• Professional early childhood experience is a plus but not required.
• CDA, EEC certification, or ECE coursework is a plus.
• Comfortable supporting Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children.
• Reliable, patient, positive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Assist with The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage children through stories, art, sensory play, music, movement, and hands-on learning.
• Support meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and transitions as appropriate.
• Encourage independence, communication, and positive social interactions.
• Help maintain appropriate classroom supervision and ratios.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms.
• Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements.
